- Developed, implemented and evaluated course content, teaching methods and materials were developed & subsequently piloted with 27 field assistants for 6 days. Field assistants then applied skills to large baseline assessment and evaluation using survey and qualitative assessments for a community malaria intervention. Monitoring and support of 12 field assistants and 3 refresher trainings. Manual published.

Critical participatory review was facilitated for each workshop. The course included teaching skills, communication skills and knowledge on malaria to improve home treatment of childhood fevers.
